Flinchbaugh Engineering to Acquire Billet Industries Effective January 1, 2024

Flinchbaugh Engineering, Inc. proudly announces the acquisition of Billet Industries, a well-respected precision machining company known for delivering superior quality products to aerospace, defense, and industrial clients. This move represents an important step in Flinchbaugh Engineering’s strategy to diversify our business through acquisitions that further strengthen us as the leading precision machining company in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Billet has a sterling reputation for quality and business integrity. A family business founded more than 50 years ago, the Billet team adds 40 highly skilled employees and a fully equipped 30,000 square foot plant to Flinchbaugh Engineering’s York, PA manufacturing footprint. Located roughly one mile from the Flinchbaugh Engineering campus, Billet’s capabilities are almost perfectly complementary to Flinchbaugh in every way.  This opens the door to new markets, and we see both companies stronger because of each other’s unique strengths.

Billet will be held as a wholly owned subsidiary to best preserve the uniqueness that was instrumental in their long-term success.   The Billet team will join their new colleagues in our employee-owned business through the Employee Stock Ownership program (ESOP).
